Walenburgs Glory

Euphorbia palustris "Walenburgs Glory" (Dutch hybrid)
Marsh spurge is domestic in Europe, and as all other spurges it blossoms with groups of small yellow-green flowers, somtimes light greenish.

Walenburgs Glory is a marked imrovement. In spingtime there is little difference between the domestic and the cultivated, also in how it blossoms.
They flourish early spring.

Aslo the seedpods can be attractive :

After spring, the stems of Walenburg Glorie gradually colour a true red, this until winter.

In winter, when it freezes, and with powder snow, rhime ice, a marked curling effect comes clearly visible.
